I feel like things would go a lot better if everyone would bear in mind that the way people act on Tumblr is not necessarily indicative of the way they act in real life.

Me in real life: one time I casually mentioned being gay to someone I didn’t know well and it was fine but afterwards I felt nauseous and I haven’t done it since
my point is (in case it wasn’t obvious) if you’ve ever seen ppl on tumblr being very very loud & proud about their identity and been like ‘ugh why do these tumblr weirdos have to be so loud about being *identity*, why can’t they talk about being *identity* a regular amount like the people I know in real life’, they probably do talk about it a ‘regular’ amount (or not at all) in real life actually
