people love fat women a lot more when they’re cute minimalist line art than they do when fat women exist in the real world and dare to take up space or even exist in their line of sight
skinny or straight-sized women will use fat women in their cartoony art as a way to embrace body positivity but other than painting us on vases or making planters shaped like our headless bodies, what are you actually doing to support and love fat women?
you’re out here getting the venus of willendorf tattooed on your arm but are you treating actual women who look like that in real life with love and respect?
because fat women exist outside of cute nude drawings and plus size insta models. fat women dressed in “unflattering” clothes exist, fat women in “ugly” clothes exist, old fat women, tired fat women… are they also symbols of your feminist movement?
or are our bodies only valuable as an aesthetic?
