Fuck, this reminds me of this good post I saw on I believe Twitter. Can’t find it and even so I’d rather not repost it if it can be helped but it was basically some dude crawling into bed w/ his girlfriend/wife and he was clearly upset and she offers him sex to make him feel better but he declines so instead she cuddles him and he starts crying and says thank you. Super cute and sweet.

This is so interesting because I’m always hugging and complimenting my guy friends too and whenever im with my boyfriend we always take a 20 or 10 minutes nap together and although i rarely sleep he puts his head on my chest and im on my phone until he falls asleep while i meddle with his hair. He loves it and it comes so naturally to me i don’t think it ever crossed my mind to offer schmexy time instead of cuddles when i see him in a bad mood. Obviously not shaming anyone it’s just interesting how these things always came to me naturally.
