So ANYWAYS, Pansexual and Bisexual are labels that can coexist and while they are pretty much the same thing, some people feel more comfortable with one or the other and that doesn’t make EITHER of them transphobic or biphobic or evil. This is coming from a bisexual trans man, so don’t try it with me. For reasons ranging from gender identity and experiences in the communities to neurodivergency, some people will find that one feels like a better fit than the other, and that doesn’t make them bad people, and it doesn’t mean they’re “attacking your label” OR excluding any gender/identity. Let people identify the way they want to identify. In the end it doesn’t really even matter if they identify a different word for the same/similar attraction, because this is not a civil war. We’re all against the same common enemy of homophobia and transphobia, we don’t need to be tearing each other apart for little differences like labels.

The distinction matters to some people, and that’s perfectly valid! What isn’t valid is attacking someone else’s identity!
